Visa News We always send visa forms with our invoices to UK clients,
to remind travellers that everyone needs separate visas for India,
Nepal, and Tibet. (EU passport holders do not need a visa for
Sri Lanka).
Fees change from time to time; the current charges for
EU passport holders are as follows:
India £30
Nepal £20
Tibet £32
We continue to offer a visa procurement service for India and
Nepal for an additional fee of £15.
Please note that for Tibet we normally arrange for our local
agents to obtain visas, and this service is included within the
cost of the itinerary.
Flights Several airlines have made recent changes to their schedules.
Inevitably these occur after our brochures are printed.
Sometimes they cause considerable disruption to our plans.
When we knew less about deep vein thrombosis, most people
wanted the direct flights offered mainly by British Airways or
the national carriers. Now, increasingly, people opt for indirect
flights.
Please let us know your preference.
Business Class We are now able to offer Business Class upgrades on many
flights, for considerably less than standard Business fares.
Contact us for details when you are making your booking.
Hill forest retreat Soul of India has established links with a Benedictine monastery
in the heart of the Wayanad Hills in Kerala. Surrounded by virgin
forest, including magnificent teak trees, the monastery has a
newly built guesthouse, and an excellent kitchen.
With a daily programme of meditation, and opportunity for
forest walks not to mention swimming in the clear
mountain river it is the perfect place for a quiet spiritual retreat.
Why not end your South India visit with a few days here?
