In the Footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi

No 20th century figure has changed the world more than Gandhi.
Everyone recognises the bent and dhoti-clad Mahatma, with his round
glasses and stick. The cotton spinning and non-violent Gandhi is the
very soul of the Indian nation.

On this journey you will visit the most important sites associated
with the life and death of the Mahatma, from his birthplace in the old
fishing town of Porbandar, to the site of his assassination in the Birla
Gardens of New Delhi.

You will enjoy the rare privilege of actually staying with the ashram
community at Sevagram, Gandhi's home and headquarters in the latter
years of the struggle for Independence. And in a true Gandhian spirit
your journey will be undertaken in large part by train.
